Has a shallow n deep end pool, courts for basketball, volleyball, tennis, and badminton, is an entire side of camp for little ones and enjoyment may be found

Owner is short tempered and makes rash decisions and commentary about young children. They only seem to want easy $$$ at the cost of discriminating against children with medical issues or who or not perfect in any way. I'm sorry I contributed to their success for more than one season and didn't listen to my gut prior. It is ashame, as most of the counselors who work there seem to care a lot more than the owners/directors do. I don't know how some people sleep at night, but they will have to pay for their actions some day.

Great location for our company picnic. Looks like it would have been a great summer camp as a kid

Discriminates against our 5 year old who has type 1 diabetes. Was first told earlier this year, they werent sure they could ' handle it in the younger age group', despite having an RN on staff, then, probably after reading they are required by ADA law to accommodate Type 1 diabetics, allowed him to attend this year. We just got a call, however, from Matt Frankel, one of the owners of Briarwood saying that next year, since "he will be older and will be in an older group," we, his parents, would now need to provide a full-time person to accompany him while he is at camp as they cant 'handle it now that he is in an older group'. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Dont run a children's program without being able to 'handle' ALL of the children. Our son will be heartbroken and we just cant believe that adults that apparently choose to run a day camp for children, would discriminate against a 5yr old due to him having this disease. Your selection criteria needs to be inclusive and not based solely on ease and profitability for the camp.

All 3 of our children have been campers at Briarwood. The staff and owners are great! The kids always come home happy and tired.
